ABOUT ME
I'm a freckled born in the Brazilian Amazon, state of Rondonia, close to Bolivia. Ariquemes sounds greek but it's the name of the town and the name of a now-vanished indigenous tribe. When I was 8 my family which is actually from the South moved back South (Curitiba-Paraná), where I grew up. Many years later I moved back North where I spent 7 years - from 2004 to 2011 - city of Boa Vista-Roraima, near the Venezuelan and Guyanese boarders. It's a savanna in the huge Amazonian region. Now that I'm back home, I miss many things from that far North. The theatre group, my garden and backyard, the fishes, fruits, rivers and waterfalls, the road to Venezuela.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted many travelers passing through Boa Vista, coming from Manaus, Georgetown or Sta. Elena de Uairén. Currently living in Curitiba-Paraná.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I hosted someone was in 2009, in Boa Vista-RR. Since then, more than 50 travelers from all over the world. That same year, in Iquitos-Peru, was the first time I surfed someone's couch.
Keep on surfin'!!!
