Overview
About Me
Sometimes, life can be desperately senseless, with all the hours lost in traffic, the days spent in a dark office, the weeks without seeing the nature, the months breathing poisoned air and eating fake food, the years of violence, selfishness, competition, exploration and inequality.
But no matter how hard the world is trying to convince us, I still believe there's a lot of new incredible experiences behind this artificial reality. And I've decided to start looking for them! :)
Currently, I live in Paris, where I'm studying for my Master's degree in Gender, Politics and Sexuality. I also work as a lawyer for an international legal start-up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling is not about knowing places, but people and cultures. I'd change any attraction for a five-minute talk with someone (especially if we could taste a good cup of coffee, or tea, or beer, or wine, or anything else). I'm absolutely passionate about people and their stories! To meet new friends, learn about the humankind and exchange experiences: I think that's why I'm here.
Interests
I'm always impressed by the way I can be interested in anything. For me, new subjects and hobbies are simply fascinating. I have a peculiar (and wonderful) feeling in my stomach every time I see, taste, discuss something different. But of course, I have my history. And during the last years, I've learned to love some things in particular.

Music, Movies, and Books
At this precise moment, my favorite music is Mortal Loucura, by Maria Bethânia, my favorite film is Les 400 Coups, by François Truffaut and my favorite book is Água Viva, by Clarice Lispector. Tomorrow, I don't know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hesitate between: 1. Touching Iggy Pop's belly during his concert, 2. Traveling by boat down the Amazon river, 3. Staying one week in a Buddhist temple.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some philosophical talks, a large and genuine smile, unforgettable Brazilian dishes and, if necessary, some legal advice. ;)
