One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 2 months in Peru when I was 18. I backpacked through the Cordillera Blanca then spent a week with an indigenous family in the Amazon rainforest learning about different plants and animals. The last 4 weeks I had an internship in a medical clinic and retirement while I took spanish classes at night and lived with various other inters I had just met. I traveled throughout the entire country on my weekends including a three day hitchhiking travel to Machu Picchu, hike to rainbow mountain, and boatride around Lake Titicaca!
