One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's a place in the island of Mindanao in Philippines that really stunned me. It is called the Enchanted River in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It has an amazing cold fresh water with seems a magical blue color as seen from above (Google it!). Not to mention that it is connecting to the Pacific Ocean. There are myths around that this place is protected by creatures. It is said that its depth is undefined.

There is a nice road to get into this place since it has been one of the greatest tourist attractions in the place. However, I must say that it is a great opportunity for me that I have relatives living across the shore and got the chance to go there by boat. On my way, I was really amazed that the water is so clear that I can able to see the sea bed and some aquatic life forms that are really amazing. It is more magical to see the passage we took to reach the Enchanted River. It seems like I was in a fantasy series that there's a magical entrance that I was welcomed by the plants around. Oh well, that sounds unbelievable but I really felt that way.

If you ever got the chance to get near to that place, do not miss the opportunity to visit Enchanted River and I promise you that you will never regret it. Might as well, you agree with all the things I said! Hehe... If I'm on my grandmother's place when you visit, I might accompany you! ;)

Update: I got my sak yant from Thailand this year. ;)
