About Me
**Notice: I will automatically decline anybody who sends me a generic copy-pasted request. I will also decline you if you don't write the password. Sorry. I get way too many requests to accept people who don't take the time to use this service properly.**
ABOUT ME
Doing what's best for myself and those around me. Happiness is the name of the game. So that means improving myself through experience and reflection, and applying that to be a better teacher, friend, and person for the people and students I care about. The more smiles in a day, the better we all are. Music, running, studying Japanese, and cookies from Costco help me achieve this.
PHILOSOPHY
Find motivation and inspiration however you can and then follow it, chase it, live it, be it. Treat yourself and others well and appreciate that you're alive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It started when I surfed across Japan on a 3-week trip in 2011. My hosts at the time opened their lives temporarily to me. I was inspired by that experience and decided to host myself when I moved to Japan in the summer of 2012. It's continued to be a great experience ever since. Except for the time the giant centipede came in to my room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was born and I am continuing to live. That's amazing enough for me.
Actually I feel like I'm too young to comment on this despite the travels and cherished experiences I have had. Life's most precious moments are still in my future.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to count to 10 in Welsh, but a CSer has yet to seriously ask me to do so. Still waiting... will you be the one?
