Overview
About Me
I'm a history graduate, currently working in the youth and community sector but just bumbling along in my early twenties at the moment. I'm a Quaker and a vegetarian and I love meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to travel by train in Spring 2016 and I'd love to do at least some of it by couchsurfing. Plus I think it will make my life a bit more interesting to have the occasional traveler stay!

Music, Movies, and Books
Folk music (e.g. Seth Lakeman, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan), fantasy books (e.g. anything written by Robin Hobb, Phillip Pullman), and lots of books from various other genres as well. Favourite movies would include animated films from Studio Ghibli (particularly Spirited Away) and then a variety of thrillers, rom coms and general silliness (I'm thinking Shutter Island, Wimbledon, A Knight's Tale, Eat Pray Love)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working on young quaker events in the UK has been amazing. The sense of supportiveness and friendship is incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
Interested in learning bits of any language! And will happily discuss the bits of English and French grammar I know. Also a frisbee enthusiast and will throw a disc around all day long.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Will happily make dinner (though I'm vegetarian!) and can bring anything if you let me know. I'll happily talk your ear off about my life, but will just as happily listen to you about yours! Whatever suits best. I'm also pretty self winding so if you're happiest just hanging around I'm always willing to just read my book.
