Overview
About Me
I'm a Peruvian immigrant, mostly raised in Los Angeles. I identify very much with a Californian as I'm used to being in a multi ethnic and socioeconomic environment; and although very pragmatic I classify myself as progressive and idealistic.
I'm an avid traveler and love adventures. I've walked through the north of Spain, kayaked between islands in south Brazil and Thailand, surfed the sands in Peru, floated down the Amazon, rode a camel safari in India, climbed a Taipui in Venezuela, rode a bike between temples in Bagan, looked for fireflies in Cambodia, negotiated at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, and worked on farms in Italy (circumnavigated the globe once) And after that, I'm still not tired of traveling.
I love to have fun and love having people around with good spirits.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch-surfing because I love to travel and I love travelers. I'll always be an immigrant and so I like to surround myself with people who understand that, such as travelers. In addition, I love seeing the world through the eyes of someone seeing it for the first time.
Also, I do not agree with this new turn that CS has taken and will not host people who just look at my profile and click a button. I'm not some dumbie with a free crash pad.
