ABOUT US

My wife and I just moved Chambéry, France in the fall of 2015 from New York City! In order ease this transition we spent 14 months on the road traveling. I am a potter and my wife is a Spanish Professor. We share a couch surfing profile which is why I am including her information as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Wow, We'll have to get back to this box when we've figured it out! But perhaps "be the change you wish to see" and "think global act local"'are two mottos we can get down with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since setting up an account my wife and I have hosted travelers in NYC and surfed while on the road. During our 14 month world tour some of our best and most memorable experiences happened while couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One reason I love CS is because every experience is different, but always positive. My wife and I loved hosting surfers while we lived in NYC and getting to share some tips about the city that you wouldn't find in a guide book. And when we have been the guests , I have found that you get a more authentic feel for the place you are visiting by living with a local. Overall, I have really enjoyed being part of the CS community and love knowing I have made friends with different people all over the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My wife and I rode our bikes' for two months from Anchorage, Alaska to Portland, Oregon.
