PHILOSOPHY

Be excellent to each other. More often than not, I agree with Ed Abbey, Yvon Chouinard, Garrison Keillor, and Ferris Bueller.

For instance:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Also, not sure who said it, but here's some more food for thought:
"The Most Dangerous Risk of All : The risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later."

Mostly as a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A wild time...my last CS experience was in 2011, but I am looking forward to actively returning to the CS community in 2015!

- (2,3 July) toured Melbourne, and traveled down the Great Ocean Road with Lois!

- (15-18 July) had a blast surfing with Cameron in Adelaide!

- (19-23 July) rad times in Port Willunga with Cara and Toff!

- (28-31 July) goin' wild in Port Douglas and Cairns with Claire!

- (9 - 12 August) beachin' it in Waikiki with Tony!

- (14 - 18 August) skating, SUPing and surfing with Greg and Jill!

- (29 October) surfing from West LA to Sunset with Sandra!

As far as music goes, just try to find something I DON'T like! Harry Nilsson, The Smiths, Francoise Hardy and Cocteau Twins hold particularly special places in my playlists.

Books? The first thing I do whenever I move somewhere new is get a library card. Current favorite titles include Sweetness and Blood, Indian Summer, The Wave, Desert Solitaire, Dharma Bums, and The Initiates.
