About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn to stand on my own two feet again!
ABOUT ME
I'm a lover not a fighter, my glass is always half full, I truly believe that everyone is kind and beautiful deep down, sometimes I think too much, I'm on a mission to learn as much as possible about myself and it seems that a great way to do that is by meeting other people.
My English dad went on a ski trip to Italy many moons ago, met a certain Italian lady I call 'Mamma' and never went back. Ever since leaving home I've lived and travelled in many different countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm waiting for my first house to be ready (sigh) but in the meantime, hit me up for coffee/beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never had an official 'Couchsurfing.org' experience but the number of times I've had friends, friends of friends, cousins of friends of vague acquaintances and total stragers stay at my place... Well, there's been a few. Being a host has also taught me to be a better, less apologetic guest.
Interests
I play the ukulele but promise not to be annoying about it.
I'm interested in everything and anything that makes me feel like a better human being.
I read books big enough to club a baby seal.
I drink beer.
I can't burp but I wish I could.
My nan taught me to knit.
When that fails to calm, I meditate Vipassana-style.
My dream is to live off the grid and grow all my own food.
I work hard.
I love my family.
I adore my friends.
I make jokes about things I probably shouldn't.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept in one of the most isolated, high altitude chalets in Europe and got to ski down the mountain at dawn the next morning, it was beautiful.
