ABOUT ME

In London I´m a freelance journalist and live with lots of friends in a big shared house. It´s great fun and I love cycling about the city, running in the big parks nearby and enjoying a few glasses of wine in a cosy London pub but...after two years in Camden, I decided it was time to get that backpack on and do a little more travelling before I get too old and wrinkly ; )

I love the great outdoors, cycling, walking and swimming in rivers and lakes but I also love going out at night and dancing til dawn.

PHILOSOPHY

You get out of life whatever you put in. Be brave and jump in! You only regret the things you didn´t do in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m new to the site and travelling right now but I´m keen to meet a few people as I travel through Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru. When I¨m back in London, I hope I can return the favour and show people my favourites bits of the big smoke of London.

Interests

I love the great outdoors, whether it´s walking, hiking, running, cycling or swimming al fresco in lakes or waterfalls. In the evenings, I love dancing to live music and would love someone to show me a few salsa or tango moves. In London, I enjoy going for coffee with friends, seeing a concert or watching a dance show. I´m interested in the environment, am a vegetarian and, as a journalist, I´m always interested in what´s going on in the country I´m visiting, whether that´s politics, environment or culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like yoga at home and, while I´m not a yoga teacher, I´d be happy to show anyone some of the basic poses so you can practise at home. I´m a trained English teacher and taught English in China for a year and a half.
