ABOUT ME

I've recently graduated from college and began working in the wine industry. I am a born traveler with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, both personally and professionally. I love getting to know new people and places and look forward to sharing what I've learned in my travels with those I am fortunate enough to encounter. I want to explore the world to the fullest extent and in doing so find out where I belong.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no evil in the world if you love everything you come into contact with. Do everything you can to improve your own life, the lives of those close to you, and those who you will never meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I equally want to host and travel. I have a beautiful home in the Sonoma wine country that is just yearning for more company. I also want to escape as much as possible to explore every part of the world I have yet to be introduced to. I never want to stay in a hotel during my travels, for there are so many fascinating people to meet and the only interaction you get in a hotel room is the silent conversation you have with you tv late at night when insomnia hits. Yuck!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom in the summer of 2009 and surfed for 90% of it. I had the most incredible assortment of hosts throughout my time there and I would love to give a similar gift to the next traveler.

How can someone sum up their interests in a textbox on a website? I suppose my answer would have to be everything. Almost anything can spark my interest. But for convenience sake...

Music, Movies, and Books

Live through music. I love all kinds, but am currently deeply in love with Flogging Molly, Metric, Mumford and Sons, Florence and The Machine, and all the French music I can get my hands on.

I love books. All of them.

Movies amuse me but I'm not typically one to sit down and watch one. I'm that person staring blankly as others quote movies.
