About Me

CURRENT MISSION

blend reality with our dreams each day

ABOUT ME

It is right time to do the update! :)
My name is Agnieszka and probably you won't be able to pronounce it, at least you can try, then we can discuss, how you can call me.
I am a Polish girl and it has been already 2 years when I am living in the Netherlands. Now I decided to quit my job and go to do other things in the world, what I always wanted to do! Now or never!
The adventure starts in the end of February 2014 in New Zealand, where I am going to buy a bicycle, tour both islands, spend a lot of time close to nature, meet new people, see the penguins, swim with dolphines, try Stand-up-paddle and many other things. Then I will try to catch a yacht to go anywhere and after some time once I figure out, what I want to do next in my life or I run out of money, I will settle down again. ;)

I am tall and cheerful. I love colorful clothes, I enjoy good photography, movies and books. I like cooking for my friends but for myself as well. I love to laugh, spend time with people, who brings some value to my life.

I am not saying that I like traveling, it is very exhausting, isn't it? Meeting all thousends of new people, finding your way in the new places, spending hours in the trains and buses, choosing where to go, what to see, what to eat and how to behave. I hate airports and I am not good at packing my backpack.

But I love being close to the nature, waking up in a tent in the mountains, the cold air when you unzip the entrance, emptiness of the remote areas, kind people in small villages, new tastes, smells and faces, dogs climbing with you to the top of the mountain, walking barefoot on the wet grass, looking at the sky full of stars and that feeling that every trip makes you wiser and stronger person. Yes, that's what I like.

PHILOSOPHY

"It's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done."

"All dreams come true. They need only time"

and sometimes: No risk, no fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: I have a weakness for costume movies e.g. Pride and Prejudice, The Duchess, The Other Boylen Girls etc.
Besides Czech comedy movies

Music: piano, female singer-songwriter, cabaret, poetry, downtempo, chillout, trip-hop, good pop and rock.

Books: on the top books about travelling: "Led by Destiny" by Kinga and Chopin, "Samsara" by Tomek Michniewicz, then crime novels by Agatha Christie, ironic detective stories by Chmielewska and romantic novels by Jane Austen.
