About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To raise my children to be good people, to continue my own journey of learning and to leave this place better than it was.

ABOUT ME

here's this year's project:
http://www.votecherylwolfe.org/

As a child I traveled so much I didn't feel any place was home. Now that I have made my home in Polson, I miss the perspective of different people and places. I love small towns but don't want to have a small mind.

PHILOSOPHY

Eyes wide open to see the truth, keep learning, keep growing, and refuse to live in fear. Keep going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from different places. Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know interesting people.

Interests

Science, stories, music and art. People, animals, and the natural world. Cooking and playing in the dirt.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of sci-fi. Love Arthur Clarke.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How could I choose just one? Mountains, far from civilization, floating in the sky on a mountain lake, hunkering down trying to sleep on rocks in a blizzard at 12000 feet, deserts with stars like powdered sugar, beaches and fires, south Texas mesquite with the wind howling through, swamps so alive the sound is practically touchable, sleeping in the redwoods with mountain laurel all around---so many amazing things, 40 elk in the yard, a meadow full of fire-flies, hot places where the air is soft, cold places where the air is crisp...the last amazing thing I slept beside was a burning oil well out in the sticks of North Dakota. It was very loud and not a thing of grace, but it definitely was amazing.
