Über mich

I grew up in New York City, mostly in the West and then East Village. I'm an English speaking musician (and artist). [* I also do art, poetry, comedy and write].I've been actively writing and playing music since I was 22. I want to tour the world and busk and also sell my cds while I entertain and rock out. My main instrument is currently Tenor Ukulele, which I play while I sing and sometimes just jam with (I also play hand drums, drum kit, guitar and Bass). I write original music yet also do "spiritual" covers of songs that I like [A few examples: One of Us by Joan Osbourne, Space Oddity by Bowie, My Sweet Lord by George Harrison]. The music I create and play now - much of it is spiritually centered and I would eventually like to go to India and try and bring back Babaji (to earth)! You can read more about this wild idea here: http://redpillzone.com/babaji/
That's why my new album is entitled: 'Shiva in the Flesh'
Traveling anywhere significant outside of Hawaii costs a lot of money and being a musician, I'm not exactly a billionaire. I want to busk and sell my cd's directly to people in music-friendly places with music-friendly people. ARE YOU MUSIC FRIENDLY (even just friendly)? I value good quality people, spiritual people, fun people... even some "party people".
I try to treat people the way I'd like to be treated. Of course I bring enough cash with me on my travels to pay for my own meals, lockers, etc. Couch crashing is just a way to cut costs while making it possible for me to travel and also meet more of the local people at the places I go to. I guess you could say I'm a "Hippie" of sorts with spiritual ideals.. in other words I'm not that dirty, unkempt, mooching type "hippie" you read horror stories about on couch crashing websites: I like to leave a place cleaner than I found it and I understand the spiritual concept of service.
Hate to sound egotistical, but the latest album I've created: Greg Ganesh - 'shiva in the flesh' I think is pretty good andI don't hear very much new music coming out these days that excites me (except for the band: Wand), especially in the rock/pop(/kirtan) genre i like.
That's why I do music too - to counteract the mediocrity I hear in so much of today's music. I am also - at the same time - able to fill my life up with GOOD music and not rely on the radio or other artists to fill that need; the irony is that the -overall- awful popular music of today gives me something positive to fight for! (perhaps I've created a new genre as well: RocKirtanPop). Check out ALL THE TRACKS of my latest album IN FULL at www.repillzone.com (just scroll down. All the tracks are there to listen to). [*If you want to buy any, that option is there too.]

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I wrote a 50 plus page critque of 'A Course in Miracles' because besides being a musician I'm also a non-dual, "neo-vedanta" philosopher of sorts.
(You can find at www.redpillzone.com in the metaphysics section.) It's amazing because NO ONE has ever done a simultaneously constructive & destructive "critique" of it before.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I teach people how to play ukulele... how to play music, really.

Other countries I have been - so far - are the Netherlands, the UK, Canada, and Ireland. I also traveled across the United States of America hitch hiking and otherwise thru countless states and have lived in several of them.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

Good music, good humor, good art and my experiences with "GOD".

Länder, die ich besucht habe

Netherlands
