Overview
About Me
I am an Engineer by trade, but recently got caught up in a mass layoff. I am deciding to travel for roughly a year before going back to work or graduate school. I love traveling and experiencing the local culture of every place I visit. I am adventurous, ready for anything, and am energized by amazing places and people. I have been traveling already for several months through Central America surfing, hiking volcanos, and SCUBA diving. I am new to the whole CS experience and am looking forward to having some good first experiences on my first tour through Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've experienced the hostel hopping world and while fun, I always felt sheltered from the culture of the places I visited. Hostels are great, but I want to learn the local language and meet the local residents of everywhere I go. I know the hostel population and wish to stray from that.

Teach, Learn, Share
I speak decent Spanish and fluent English, and anyone willing to improve on their skills or improve mine I would love to partake. I am an Engineer by trade, but love literature, politics, and conversing in general. Ask me anything and I'll tell you my opinion, and vise versa I like to see what other people in this world think.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to converse with people from different countries from across the world. Ask me anything about my country and I will gladly discuss it with you as best as I can and I will do the same about your country. Long talks over philosophy, politics, books, music, or anything really get me energized. I truly enjoy seeing what people believe about my country and our beliefs, and I see myself as a decent ambassador to prove/disprove or discuss on these topics. I have worked in kitchens for years and would gladly cook a meal for my host.
