About Me

First time using Couch Surfing!
Outgoing and friendly I'm always on the hunt for new activity buddies and adventures. I'd be equally as happy looking around a museum as I would dancing badly (but incredibly enthusiastically) at a concert or just sitting back with a beer and good company.

My days do often revolve around food (I'm a huge fan).

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No guide book can compare to local's knowledge, no hotel can compare to a home and nothing compares to meeting new people and making new friends.

Interests

I love to read, so feel like I slightly cheated the system by getting a degree through doing what I love (I read English literature at university).
Almost everything I do in life is preferably accompanied by some music (blues, folk, classical and most importantly, reggae).
Despite my lack of natural sporting ability I like to run, play tennis, surf, slackline, fish and just about anything else that involves movement and fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Literally anything that sounds good, from Alt J to J J Cale, Dire Straits to Drum and Bass. And aaaaall things reggae!

Movies: The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Usual Suspects, The Princess Bride and of course anything by Pixar.

Books: Brave New World, Gulliver's Travels, We Need To Talk About Kevin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once ate an entire jar of peanut butter in one day. Although that's really more disgusting than amazing I guess.
