About Me

I'm 24. I was born in France and lived most of my life there and also a little in England. I'm an English teacher and I am passionate about learning new things. I really love linguistic in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first reason I came to couchsurfing was, like a lot of people I guess, friends telling me how cheap it was. But I do really think that it allows you to meet new people that you would not neccessarily have met otherwise. It also gives you the opportunity to discover a "hidden" side of the country you're visiting, to follow a path normal tourists don't bother walking through and to discover the real face of where you are.

Interests

I really love music, reading but also traveling even though I did not have many opportunities yet. I'm playing rugby so I obviously like this sport but I am interrested in other sports too.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is the Finnish band The Rasmus, and I mostly listen to rock music (even though I also listen to other styles such as metal, classical, folk, ...).
I love reading but if I had to bring only one author on a desert island it would Nick Hornby ! I'm just not able to pick one of his novels. As for movies, I'm really not the difficult to please. If I had to choose some DVDs to save from the fire, I'd say I'd take The Artist, The Broken Circle Breakdown, Song For Marion, all Tim Burton's and Wes Anderson's film ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After an exam in Nantes, I visited many castles in the Vallée de la Loire such Chambord or Chenonceau. Even though it is not as crazy as sailing down the Nile or hiking in the Amazon Forest, it was really great and allowed me a view in my own country's history of which I was unfortunately not enough aware of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think I can be pretentious enough to pretend I can teach you anything but I'll be really grateful to learn from whatever you could offer.
I'd be really glad to share about a lot of things if you're interrested in my culture, my studies, linguistics or wanna play rugby for a while, we can !
