About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of my travel experience in the past several years has been to stay with friends or family, friends of family, friends of friends, or to camp. I am discovering that many hostels are students-or-internationals-only, and that sometimes friends are unavailable the very night I need to arrive, so I need to expand the possibilities for housing. I have always enjoyed the random friendships made at hostels and homestays, so couch surfing is probably an excellent fit.
When I'm away, I'm happy to have someone stay at my place, and I hope to upgrade from my studio apartment to somewhere I could host people regularly.
Interests
Social dance of many varieties, including swing and blues, contra/square, and Latin. I enjoy tabletop games of the Settlers/Dominion/hearts/spades ilk. I like to run and bike as much as possible.
When I travel, I don't necessarily need to investigate every major attraction and museum, but am happy to have a single photo outside the biggies proving I was there and spend most of my energy wandering and getting a general feel for a place.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always excited to teach swing, blues, and Charleston! I would love to improve on the little Thai and French I know, and learn anybody's favorite recipes.
