About Me

I am self employed and work with my laptop. I have an online t-shirt shop that I have been running for a few years. My background is in Politics/ law/ self development so I am always keen to chat about current affairs and healthy living etc.

I still like to party and like to listen to live music when I can. I like to DJ and experiment with electronic music.

I also have an interest in Zen and other Eastern philosophies. I'm also interested in ancient history so alway like a museum trip :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always keen to learn about other cultures and languages. I once wanted to be a Diplomat as this is what I studied in (International Politics) but then chose a different career path. I still want to travel and understand different cultures though.

I have previously hosted foreign language students in my flat and enjoyed learning about their local cuisines and cooking styles. I thought I knew Italian cooking until an Italian girl really showed my how to cook. I am actually very happy talking about food and drink as I think they are a great way to explore different cultures and make friends.

Interests

Interests include cooking, ancient history, electronic music/ djing, travelling, aikido and current affairs. I also like to scuba dive when possible and play golf. I also have a Canon EOS that I like to practice with.
