About Me

Hullo! Nice to meet you.

I have lived in London, Rome, Boston, and West Africa. I now live in a log cabin on the Gatineau River in Quebec.

I am a bit of a serial entrepreneur and budget adventurer. I'm the founder of assorted initiatives like HARVEST NOIR (a pop-up picnic and dance), BIOREGIONAL NORTH AMERICA (an environmental NGO), WHEELS4REFUGEES (a volunteer drive helping Syrian refugees), TOMOYE CORPORATION (an internet startup acquired by NewsGator), and a long tradition of Ultimate Frisbee games at Villa Pamphili in Rome. Once upon a time I worked for the United Nations.

PERSONAL
My passions include adventure sports, ultimate frisbee, and dancing. I am a student of martial arts and forest gardening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was stalked by a snow leopard in the remote Himalayas a while back. And I've been run over by a whakeshark!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a few choice things with travelling companions, including silly jokes, self defence techniques, and secret handshakes.
