Overview
About Me
I'm an aspiring graphic artist freelancing and continuing my education seeking out new opportunities and experiences. I enjoy good conversation with people with dynamic point of views and quality time alone. Art is my driving passion which consumes the majority of my time, and life experience fuels my creativity. I believe most people who know me would describe me as an honest person who tells the truth no matter the circumstances and laid-back. I love the unknown, the obscure, the strange, anything that piques my interest usually obtains my undivided attention. That just about explains my personality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing because one of my main foci is to meet new people and learn from them a unique perspective of the world around them. I enjoy truly talking to people and being an active listener and I believe that Couchsurfing will avail the opportunity to me to do this in a very interesting manner. I see this as a means of breaking down barriers that people usually put up by throwing complete strangers into the most unconventional circumstances by living together.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as music goes I'm a fan of all genres except for country and gospel, I'm usually drawn to hip hop and rnb and the classics.
My favorite movie of all-time is Dazed and Confused, love it!!! I'm not the biggest movie buff because I find them to be too time consuming but Tarantino and Kurosawa are some of the best filmmakers ever.
I really like the Star Wars books that focus on the Sith lords of the past and I recently finished reading Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa, great novel. Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and I'm an avid manga and comic book fan. Also graphic novels are life!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I feel that I have accomplished is having my own solo art exhibition at my current college. It was called Sword on the Heart, Shinobu, and I had named it after my Japanese language teacher because she was the person who inspired me to seek out my passions in life and continue my education. It was the most work that I have ever made which had an overall cohesion in composition and presentation. https://www.instagram.com/buckingham_noir_iconography/ just in case you're interested in seeing some of the work.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I'm much of an teacher but I do share my knowledge with others as much as possible. As far learning goes I consider myself a student of life and I'm always furthering my education.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share conversation with hosts and the openness to seek out adventure. Plus if anyone has an interest in improving their English I can help with that and being a Louisiana native of course I'll share my southern hospitality with anyone.
