I'm just a regular guy who's interested in experiencing more of the world. I only recently became acquainted with the concept of Couchsurfing, and the idea of experiencing a new community from something other than a "tourist" perspective greatly appeals to me.

I'm on Couchsurfing for an economical way to meet new and interesting people and hopefully experience their community through their eyes.

I have a pretty eclectic personality which allows me to appreciate a wide variety of interests. I particularly enjoy the outdoors and am making a concerted effort to expose myself to more hiking and backpacking.

I enjoy a lot of movies, but The Big Lebowski is by far my favorite.
For music, I'm a fan of ska, folk, rock, and a lot of styles which I probably don't even know the correct term to describe:
Reel Big Fish, 3 Minute Hero, Uncle Tupelo, Golden Smog, The Black Crowes, Jane's Addiction, Cage the Elephant, Social Distortion, Skrillex, Knife Party, upbeat country, and a lot of other things. Again, I'm pretty eclectic.
