I was born in California, grew up outside of Seattle, and now I'm living in Asheville, North Carolina. I set up shop out here and have been working as a carpenter for the last 6 years. When I'm not working I enjoy live music, floating down the French Broad River, practicing Jiu Jitsu, hanging out with friends, and being outside! I love adventures and travel, and am currently scheming my next big trip!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music; I grew up in Seattle during the grunge era so can't go without some: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. I also enjoy Indy Rock, for example the Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, and Modest Mouse. Also a hefty dose of Soul, whether its Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings or Charles Bradley. Some good old school hip hop like Black Star, underground Hip-Hop, and friggin can get down with some solid 80s classics, David Bowie, and 90s rap, Notorious B.I.G., Dre, what have you. I'm always excited to hear and learn about new music!

Movies: Dumb and Dumber, The Big Lebowski, Rain Man, are some classics in my book.

I like Jon Krakauer books, Jonathan Safran Foer, and some history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria to volunteer with the American Red Cross. It was an unforgettable experience.
