ABOUT ME

Im a laid back guy that likes to hang out. I try to be as kind as I can and live life to the fullest.

I really enjoy being around friends and having a fun time. I have lived with 7 roommates for the past 2 years and will be living with 9 guys this upcoming year in a house in the middle of Springfield. It is going to be quite an experience.

I love playing sports like basketball, ping pong, frisbee, soccer, vollleyball, and almost all others. I am going with a friend to watch ping pong in the Olympics this year in London. I love biking on my fixed gear through the streets of Springfield, or anywhere that my bike can take me. I have been able to bike down the main road through Las Vegas and around Venice Beach in Los Angeles. Although I have been stuck riding the wrong way in the middle of a one way highway in San Diego and being hit by a car on my way to class, I still love to ride.

I really want to visit as many places as I can around the world. I have been quite a few places around the US such as Houston, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Minneapolis, and Juneau, Alaska. I have never had the opportunity to leave the country until this year. Me and a friend are traveling to London, Amsterdam, and Madrid. I am excited to see how different of a world it is across the ocean.

I have been studying Spanish while in college (solamente un poco). I hope to be able to speak with some natives while in Madrid. Hopefully my excitement to learn the language is still there even if I totally mess up everything I say there. One of my goals in life is to be fluent in another language.

I am a currently a student at Missouri State University studying to be a Civil Engineer. Not exactly sure what I want to do with that when I graduate. Hopefully I will be able to be a part of the next historic landmark or something. At least that is my dream. We will see how far I get.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed and been a part of hosting when my roommates host at our house in Springfield. The people that I have met through Couchsurfing have been some of the most interesting people. If not for my roommates I would not have ever known about Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed once in Houston Texas and have had several couch surfers stay at my house while traveling through Springfield, MO. In Houston we stayed for 3 nights as we explored the city. Also, in Springfield I have been able to meet some bikers that biked across the United States, the "mellow yellow man", and several other couchsurfers from around the world.

I like sports- pretty much all of them
I played basketball and ran track and cross country in high school. Was never very good at them but I still like them. I love ping pong and fooseball. Two pretty useless sports in high school because no school has them so of course those are the two things Im good at. Thats just how it works I guess

I love to travel.
Planning a trip to Europe in one week. Would love to couchsurf in London, Amsterdam, and Madrid.

I play a lot of nerf hoops in my house with my roommates. If there is one thing that is fun and intense its nerf hoops. Someone gets hurt everytime we play and the house sounds like it is about to fall apart but its just too fun to stop.

Fiction books that are fast to read. Im pretty bad at reading so anything that I can finish in a day or two is just great. That way I feel like I accomplished something.

I try to limit myself on movies because they are too easy to watch. Two of my favorites:
