About Me

CURRENT MISSION

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

ABOUT ME

I'll try to keep things short.

I like music (listening and playing), sports (watching and playing), politics, and art, among other things, and enjoy discussing any of them.

I like being in the woods as much as I enjoy exploring cities. I think of myself as a city person but I love going on hikes, spending time around lakes and rivers, etc. Don't really care for the beach though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for hosts pretty much anywhere. If you have animals, I am an excellent caretaker. I have a dog, a cat, and have had an aquarium and a snake of my own. I like to cook, so I can help prepare meals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this. I never never surfed or hosted.

Interests

I play guitar, American football, occasionally tennis in the summer; I enjoy bicycling and hiking as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - 1984, Animal Farm, A Clockwork Orange, The Seagull, The Trial, Oedipus Rex
Movies - Anything visually stimulating.

Shows - Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mr. Robot, The Knick, Weeds, Mad Men, Chappelle's Show, Futurama, Chopped, The Simpsons, Luther, Orange is the New Black, anything on Animal Planet, History Channel, and Discovery Channel. I usually end up starting to watch shows once they're on Netflix.

Music - I love instrumental music. Depending on my mood I'll listen to post-rock, jazz, metal, rock, or rap. However, there are a couple styles I just can't get into: anything too poppy and formulaic is just not appealing to me, almost all country, a good chunk of electronica, and most R&B.
