ABOUT ME

Hi, I am interested in meeting people of all nationalities and backgrounds, via this website. I am able to host members of the site in my period property, and am also interested in staying at other people's places, on a haphazard trek around the world. :) I live a varied life, and try to avoid stagnation, repetition and wallowing in mediocrity, so treat life as a cosmic joke for the most part, despite the occasionally testing nature of circumstances. So retaining optimism, good humour and applying a light touch to life is an intrinsic part of my nature too. :)

To learn more about different countries and cultures, comprising this veritable melting pot of disparate influences, otherwise known as Earth. :) It's also one way of making new friends and meeting interesting and diverse people, which one would otherwise never bump into in life. Many other travellers seem to have a mindset to which I can easily relate. :)

兴趣

My interests include sports, music, art, psychology, Western and Eastern philosophy, acquiring knowledge in all its myriad of forms. I am also heavily into studying foreign languages, and never assume that the world should conform to speaking my own native tongue (English). Plus, I also enjoy many of the more obvious things, such as socialising and having fun.
