ABOUT ME

Well, i've recently finished a degree in Contemporary Chinese Studies at Nottingham university, UK and I'm now in Beijing studying more Mandarin on a scholarship. I'm a big fan of China and Chinese culture. I love music, comedy and new experiences.
And going into shops pretending i'm Scottish, Russian or American... that's excellent.

PHILOSOPHY

When I look back on my life in 60 years time and think about how things panned out, I'd rather regret things I have done than those things I never got to do. Keep your mind open, eyes open, ears open and never, ever read The Daily Mail.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still pretty new to this whole game. Met some lovely French girls in Nottingham for a brew one time, that is the extent of my couchsurfing XP. Definitely want to have more CS experiences though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My babysitter had a hit single that got to No. 2 in the UK charts! She was on top of the pops and everything, madness.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cheese most likely came about because a nomad filled his container - a stomach pouch (thats what they used to drink out of back in the day) with milk and went on a journey on horseback or camel. The constant motion of the horse/camel and the rennet from the stomach combined to create a rudimentary cheese.
