ABOUT ME

Currently I live with my girlfriend Danielle North of Yellowstone National Park. We are both seasonal employees with the Park Service, Danielle is a park Ranger, and I am a wildland firefighter. In the winters, we try to find work, but when we aren't working we hunt, ski, travel, and ride bikes. We try to spend a lot of time outside and enjoy pretty much all outdoor activities. We are both avid backpackers.
We are always looking to try something new.
Unfortunately, due to our seasonal lifestyle, we move a lot and depending on where we live, we may not be able to host any visitors.

PHILOSOPHY

All of the things that separate us politically or socially like: conservative, liberal, Democrat, Republican, pro life, pro choice, gay, straight, Christian, Jew, Muslim, etc. all fade away when you remove the argument, add understanding, and realize we can disagree but still be good people and have respect for one another. One of the benefits to meeting other people is seeing life through their eyes and understanding their point of view.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing. I hope we can assist travelers explore some of the neatest places on Earth by providing at least advice and insight if not a place to crash for the night. Hopefully we can enjoy some hospitality from some fellow couch surfers in our travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. We have used a similar site called Warm showers that is specific to bicycle tourists, and we caould not believe the hospitality we encountered. We were treated wonderfully by people from all walks of life in locations around the country.

Intereses

Bikes, skis, mountains, nature, being outside, meeting new people, food food and food, dogs, sunrises and sunsets, music, traveling, floating rivers, hunting, and lots more
