About Me
Hi. I’m Grega, a regular 22-year-old guy , who loves travelling, meeting others and seeing the world for what it is and not what it is not.
I love the little things in life and never take myself too seriously. Laughing with friends and enjoying my family are two of my favorite things. Today, I consider myself the luckiest person on earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had luckily had a chance to live at a host family in the US while on a Youth Leadership program and it was such an amazing experience to live with the people and share their life that I want to repeat it over and over. I do not imagine travelling without getting to know the people of the country and finding what they are about.
And the CS is such a great platform to do so. To meet the locals and see the life in the country from the inside.
Interests
Since I am a 22-year old I pretty much love everything. Still in the part of my life where experimenting and trying new stuff is all that I am about. Eating different food, going to different spontaneous places and just taking life with a whole spoon.
I like sightseeing, exploring the city I travel and I like going out and having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books
For music I pretty much love everything except hip hop which just isn't my cup of tea. Movies and TV series I adore. From law-tv shows to medical dramas to fantasy series like Charmed. I adore pretty much everything.
Books. Hmm Wish I had more time to read. I used to love reading English books, that's how I learned the language, now I just don't find any time for it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in US in the exchange leadership program I volunteered and worked in the Stop Hunger Now organization and packed food for people in need. It was a great learning stone for me - how so little effort and just uniting people can create a difference.
Oh and going to a different continent (from Slovenia to US) at 17 and living there without my friends/parents and with no one I knew prior of going was such a building experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you my native Slovenian language or show you around our capital if you visit.
I would love to learn to cook some of the famous dishes from the country I visit.
And learn the language of the country.
Share - Well I can share some good times, laughs, ideas ...
What I Can Share with Hosts
My opinions, my views, my willingness to have fun and enjoy the travelling and hopefully create a good friendship that will last a bit more than just a day or two.
