About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Co-creating intermedia language and dialects

ABOUT ME

I work on P2P media network design and group decision process. I support open source tools, the creative commons, intermedia co-creativity, and sustainable culture. I'm practically religious about the radical minimalization of violence, coercion and fraud.

PHILOSOPHY

You are what you eat!

Interests

Everything and every thing-- often too much for my own good. I'm especially fascinated by maps, but that's only because they refer to other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any movie that's thoughtful and interesting, but particularly non-genre stuff. I'm fond of strong surrealist, magic realism or fantasy elements. If I had to note one favorite film it'd be "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." I'm almost equally interested in nonfiction/documentary.

My personal creative fiction is tending towards nonlinear, interactive multimedia narratives including video clips and user-generated visual maps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to pick one, I'd still pick more than one!

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I'm somewhat 'expert' in some areas of photography and film production. I have a pretty broad general education. I've focused on some areas in philosophy, political theory, media network design, and especially noncoercive group process.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lots of ideas about a sustainable economic, political and creative future. :) I'm deeply interested in whatever others deeply care about. I enjoy dialogue much more than monologues.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, Romania, United Kingdom, United States
