About Me

ABOUT ME

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the are filling out a profile for an online dating site? What do my friends say about me? Well most of them think I am a little crazy. They don't totally comprehend the nomadic lifestyle. I used to be overly goal oriented and focused just on work. It wasn't making me happy so I left it behind. Now I work about half of the year and travel about half of the year. They would also say that I am adventurous and trustworthy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling I like to experience the different culture. I find that couchsurfing is a great way to get to meet great new people, truly experience how they live and share a little of my way of life.

Interests

I figure that since our lives are very short I put a lot of effort into seeing and experiencing as much as I can. In addition to travelling I am a tremendous animal lover, so I spend a lot of time with my dogs and volunteering with animal rescues. Also, I am a singer who performs Rat Pack style music. I regularly perform at various locations around the country, primarily in the Mid-west, Arizona & Florida. Oh yeah, I also I love to experience new types of food. I will at least try anything that you put in front of me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love jazz and blues. Pop, country and pretty much anything but rap and hardcore metal are good with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let's see, first of all would have to be the overwhelming beauty of Koh Samui, Thailand. I honestly am not even a huge beach person. However, Koh Samui has to be the most beautiful place I have ever witnessed. Second I would say is the view from the observatory atop Mauna Kea in Hawaii. You are in Hawaii, above the cloud layer and surrounded by snow, pretty amazing. Third would have to be kayaking the Gauley River in West Virginia during the fall watershed. Very dangerous, very beautiful and very exciting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been pretty well travelled and can share quite a few great experiences. Singing is a semi-profession of mine. So If you want to hear some Sinatra, I am your guy.
