ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, tough skinned, friendly but quiet, I love to laugh, and I'm pretty adventurous. I can be social but I also tend to do my own thing and stay out of the way. I'm pretty active and like travel and photography. I like out of the way scenic places, not tourist traps.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have a philosophy. Maybe "Live and Let Live". Life is meant to be enjoyed. I was able to take a few years off of work and it's given me a lot of perspective about what's important. And it's not sitting behind a desk sending emails all day. Go have some real experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm able to host here in my home (feel free to send a request), and I'm hoping to be able to do some surfing on my upcoming travels.

One time I crossed a river in Iceland on a motorcycle - well, OK I didn't technically make it all the way. After washing out and floating 100 yards downstream I was finally able to drag the now completely flooded bike the rest of the way to the opposite bank... then the fun really started.
