Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have a couch and a spare room, looking for easy going people who want to stay short term, must enjoy getting out and about exploring and living life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted so many people now and couch surfed myself in Germany, a fantastic expirience being part of a comunity like this.
I have had a few dud couch surfers though, people that don't understand what it's all about and are just after a free ride so if you want to be a really shit couch surfer here some tips from some of the worst i've had.

1. spread all your shit all over my house so it's easy to find.
2. finish what your eating leave your mess in the kitchen / dining room table and grab a cosey spot in front of the TV
3. I'm up for work monday to friday at 7 for a 7:30 start so be in the shower at 7 to do your hair for an hour
4. when I get home take my computer into the spare room and lock the door behind yourself so you can spend quality time on the internet
5. and my favorite, break all my cups, plates etc

I shouldn't have to give out tips like this but couchsurfing to me is meeting the locals getting to know what good places there are to see on your travels and having fun, I have met so many fantastic people that I still like to keep in touch with and hope to see again.

Interests

Socializing and having a good time, exploring the top end of Australia.
I've been into Kakadu and Litchfield over 10 times now and keep discovering more and more and what's good as the seasons chnge.
I've got my 4WD set up now for camping and rough tracks so I get in where the tours don't take you.
