About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world, discover myself
ABOUT ME
Always looking to try new things. I try not to take anything for granted. Calm and reflexive, I can guide the one who is lost and I will take advice from the wise. Respectful and reliable, I won't let you down. Anxious, I'm learning to let go.
I like to build my own things and repair them to give them a long life. But I won't give myself too much trouble. I like to take it easy and avoid stress.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life intensely. New experiences will make me grow. If it's scary, that's a good enough reason to do it!
Be respectful of nature and kind to other people, you will receive more than you could give.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've shared homes with friends, and I've started exchanging homes on Intervac. I've surfed a few times in the United States.
Interests
I'm a biker. I explore countries around Montreal, usually leaving without a clear destination, and letting the people I meet guide me. Also, nature and unexplored places fulfill me. I love to be in and on water: sailing, cliff jumping, swimming in rivers, canoeing. I like to be among good friends, and I always enjoy meeting new people. I love to cook and improvise on a few ingredients, and lots of herbs and spices!
I play music. Irish music on a wooden flute or a tin wistle, and started learning guitare. But my next goal is to sing for a rock band. I would love to give it all on stage!
I like to explore and understand. I'm quite scientific, but spirituality is where I've searched the most.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fantasy and science fiction take me to other worlds. Heavy metal music has the power to take me out of this one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent a year travelling the world with my girlfriend Karina. We looked for a cultural shock, and we certainly got it! Wow, I'm still trying to understand what happenned there...
Previously, driving across the USA on my bike to California was life changing... Well, changes were underway, so it was just leaping from the diveboard, but what a flight! Such intense moments of loneliness as well as new friendships.
Flying on a helicopter (I was a mechanic at the time) from Kuujjuaq accross the arctic to north-eastern Greenland. Nature was grand and untamed. Storms and glaciers scared us to death. The Inuits were good to us, and the Danes made good friends. Cold seas and desolate landscapes were the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. You learn to take care of yourself and respect nature when you're that far from civilization.
