About Me

I grew up in a small town in the south of Austria between a lot of lakes and mountains which shaped my interest for nature and outdoors a lot. I then moved to Vienna where I did a bachelor in psychotherapy. In my last year of that I found dance, that changed a lot for me, I moved to Portugal to study the craft of dance and now I just quit my choreography studies in Amsterdam in order to finally start working as a freelance artist.

I love traveling, being in nature and meeting new people. Expanding my cultural horizon brings me the joy of experiencing the many outgrows of what it means to be human and somehow allows me to put myself in relation to my surrounding.

- Right now I am backpacking through India, I’ve started end of October in Kolkata I am pretty much just following where my feet take me. I am super much in love with this country, and its’s kind hearted and hospitable people! I am incredibly grateful that I can experience this super rich and diverse culture and food!
If you are fun and curious to spend some time with me, Let’s hang out!🌞

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy finding myself in new cultures and I think that Couchsurfing gave me the opportunity to experience a new place hands on, and through the eyes of a local. An amazing opportunity that I could have never had otherwise, I have made many strange experiences on Couchsurfing, but never a bad one. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and I listen to all kinds of different genres.
I always like to discover new artists and I'm very open to any recommendations.
Right now I’m enjoying Devendra Banhart and BossaNova a lot.
I'm deeply in love with the films of Emir Kusturica.
I really enjoy reading Philosophical and Absurdist Fiction like Sartre, Hesse and Camus. Also writings by Hunter S. Thompson, Murikami, and Tom Wolf I find great! I guess I’m quite specific about the media I consume, but I like to get recommendations.
I’m interested in talking about art, from a very real point of view of personal experience.
I like to make art, preferably with my hands and body.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've motorbikes from Saigon to Hanoi, took me one month and dozens of motorbike breakdowns but it was one of my most eye opening experiences where I really got to know myself and my limits. (I wrote this three years ago, at the time it was amazing, and looking back it’s pretty dangerous to do by myself)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and I’m in a process of learning lots of different Indian dishes and cuisines. I will happily exchange recipes and dishes.

I know a lot about the body and movement. I practice Yoga every day and I enjoy giving & receiving massages and I also like to share what I know about physical well-being and self-care.
Often I only found out what I actually know by sharing it with others.

I can share with you what I know about playing guitar, flute, and I can of course also share a bit of my dance practice.

I am also learning Hindi and I would love to practice that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I have good energy, I am independent, social, and honest and sharing time with me is usually fun.
We can share meals, talk about what makes us who we are, make music, go into nature, draw, dance, go swimming and do all kinds of adventures together.

I am curious about life and genuinely interested in things. You can talk with me about a lot of topics and I'm quite confident that we will have a good time.
