Film maker, Parkour coach/athlete and musican with an interest in anything and everything from physics to fire spinning. I find it very difficult to convey my interests over text and am far more comfortable just answering questions or just showing. I will likely ramble on about Jazz, some branch of philosophy or tales of fiction from books and movies alike. Most of all I love sharing these interests with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved travelling and meeting others on travels (its the best bit of travelling for me). The final push for me to jump on here was my plans to move to Glasgow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh gosh... well, most of my favourite music is based on musicianship so a lot of my music stems from jazz with the likes of The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Nat King Cole, The Rat Pack and so much more. Though I still love all sorts of music... except punk and country. Nothing personal.

My favourite selection of movies would have to be along the lines of Into the Wild, Lord Of The Rings, V for Vendetta and Star Wars to name but a few.

Books is also tough but Lord Of The Rings is always a prominent favourite and on the other side of the spectrum would be Skulduggery Pleasant and then numerous non fiction pieces like Walking With Giants, a biography of Led Zeppelin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first band gained a good amount of success and we decided to launch our first album. We did this with an album launch concert and we had the entire venue at record numbers and made over £500 in the one night from album sales, badges and entry fee.

I also saved a bee once from the inside of a train station.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to go over all the fun movement exercises I've learnt over my coaching career as well as fun riddles and word games. I also love sharing my musical interests and introducing people to my favourite artists and inevitably talking about some sort of social stance or interesting philosophical development... and also some words that sound cool.
