About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Academic Intermezzo in Germany.

ABOUT ME

I am a 361° person. Before making a little turn, I want to make sure that I have seen everything.

My interests spread from physics to philosophy over painting and literature, forming a mixture that I, on a day-to-day-basis consider to be either healthy or unhealthy.

I study degrees in Philosophy and Physics at LMU Munich. Whenever I somehow find time, I try to get some film project rolling. My last episode episode was to study in Tokyo for a year, now I'm back and up for no good.

PHILOSOPHY
In the "motto"-version of the word:
Try to understand. What you haven't tried, you won't understand.

More technically, I am interested in phenomenology and its philosophy of science. To write a PhD thesis about this, I am about to move to London. But this is better explained over a bottle of red wine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was when I travelled sweden in 2010. It was exactly the kind of journey I was looking for. Couchsurfing in Geneva, however was very different, but a good experience as well. Well, couchsurfing is just a platform, your experience depends obviously on the people you meet.

Interests

painting, photography, theatre, literature, English language, films, physics, psychology, philosophy, music, politics, cheese, red wine (I'm more comfortable drinking than pretending to know something about it, though I grew up among vineyards), tea (I definitely should move to England at some point)...

Maybe it it is more telling what I am not interested in. It's hard to get me into a long conversation about sports, cars, consumer electronics or computer games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books.
And I like music. Particularly from Sweden.
If you can cook a dish I don't know, I'm all yours.
If we can chat in several languages, I am sure we will for a long time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to write and stage a play and it might be the best that I've done so far.
