About Me

Hello everybody,

My birth name is Gregorio, but since when I went for my first time at Burning Man in 2013 many people know me as NoPlans ButDreams. This name represents me a lot, because I am a serious dreamer. Dreaming about the future makes me always feel incredibly happy, because I am able to transport my mind in different places. However, I am also extremely practical because I understood that dreaming by itself doesn’t allow to make things happen.

I was born in Italy 28 years ago, but I left my home country when I was 20. In the past 8 years I have been living and traveling all over the world and this made me change my life and my person deeply. I am actually never been the stereotypical Italian, in fact: I hate soccer, I drink coffee occasionally, I am the least picky person I know about food, I love my family and friends but I don’t need to have a constant contact with them. Traveling and living in 50+ countries made me change so much that I now see the world through the lenses of a globe citizen thirsty of knowledge and of new adventures.

I have completed last May my Master of Architecture at the University of Michigan thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship (otherwise I would have never had the finances to even think about studying in the US). My thesis was inspired by the Burning Man ethos and it is basically the creation of a community that, following a different way of living and thinking, will try to change the world. I am currently in a really exciting moment of my life, because this dream is starting to take form. You can find some more information about this at:

Interests

My favorite thing in life is to stay with people. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a park with one friend, in a home with 5 or in a festival with 20. I feel fulfilled in spending my time surrounding by old and making new friends. Another crucial aspect of my life is making new experiences, discovery new cultures, horizons and limits and learning new things.
I deeply love music (almost any kind), I am an adrenaline junkie (skydiving, surfing, snowboarding, skating, climbing... ), I enjoy cooking and I discover a few months ago a new passion...FIRE! I spin it, breath it and, when really hungry, eat it! I also love yoga, meditation and any spiritual activity, on which sadly, I didn’t have too much to spend recently.
