Overview
About Me
Hey there,
I'm working in the club business as an electrician and construction manager, built several Bars and Clubs in Berlin and have worked in almost every other aspect in night life. What started out as a hobby and a way to make a couple of bucks once in a while has evolved to an actual profession of wich I can make an honest living from.
Aside from that I try to squeeze as much traveling as possible into my everyday life. From the occasional weekend getaway in Europe to long term round the world trips, you name it..
Currently I'm on a six month trip, taking me from Berlin through the Balkans, to Greece, Turkey, into Iran. From there I'll fly towards Asia and hope to end my trip with Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. I hope to meet interesting locals and people to mingle on the way, because in the end the charm of a country lays within its people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I guess, I'm here for the same reason as every body else.. I enjoy the company of people from all over the world and believe that traveling and getting in contact with people from other cultures makes the world a better place. I believe that staying at someones home intensifies the quality of a travel experience in a way a hotel never could.
Although I am pretty new to couch surfing itself, I've stayed at many peoples homes in the past and enjoyed every bit of it.
I'd describe my self as a humble guest and would think of my self as open minded and curious.
I hope we'll see each other soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: 70s Funk Music, Old/Newschool Hiphop, Bluesrock and the occasional Deep-House/Tech-House set on the Dancefloor...
Movies: Everything by Wes Anderson, the Coen Brothers, Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez
Books: Mostly stuff by Nick Hornby, Sven Regener, Milan Kundera, Franz Kafka and Robert Musil... seriously, I don't really care who's written it, as long as its not fantasy or si-fi...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Staying 8 days as the sole tourist on a small little atoll in the Cook Islands
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, and am always happy if I can share a nice home cooked meal with people, so if you have a kitchen, count me in!
Aside from that I have a lot of good stories to tell and a very open ear to listen to all the stuff you have going on in your life, in combination with some beers or a bottle of wine that should make a great evening.
