About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go on another adventure!

ABOUT ME

You'll just have to meet me. Don't worry, I'm safe.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy. Smile instead of yelling, love instead of hating, listen instead of saying, laugh instead of crying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed around 30 times through the website during my vagrant years, and now I am hosting some to those finding their way to Johnson City, TN.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lost track of how many people I've couchsurfed with, but they were all awesome experiences and I made lots of new friends. It sure beats the alternative of spending the night alone and wondering what you might be missing in the area.

Interests

I like running, traveling, the outdoors, writing, playing board games, cooking, and lots of other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movies, all kinds of music, and I have mostly just read the classics. But my favorite movie is Julian Po, my favorite music groups are Red Hot Chili Peppers, George Strait, Bob Seger, The Black Eyed Peas, and The Lovin' Spoonful, and my favorite book is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After graduating college I went on a 40 day canoe trip with a friend that took me from Anderson, Indiana to Caruthersville, Missouri on the White, Wabash, Ohio, and Mississippi Rivers. We got robbed in Caruthersville though. So then I went on a 5,000 mile hitchhiking trip that took me from Indiana to California to the Gulf of Mexico to Indiana again. Then I got a real job.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things will work out, so don't worry about it. But if you really are going to die, make sure you leave a good legacy behind.
