About Me

I appreciate simplicity in life, as well as agriculture (sustainable, independent farming), literature, and knowledge of various disciplines. The different languages and poetry of the human experience appeal to me, and I hope to share in the vast experience of cross-cultural exchanges.

I've worked with farmers and shepherds in the United States and France, I love the countryside, and I try to stay there when I can. I enjoy hiking, bicycling, bouldering, walking (across states), and meeting new people while sharing stories of travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet other people who have a warm spirit and a heart opened to the beauty of life. Making friends along the way doesn't hurt, either.

Music, Movies, and Books

Quant aux comédies musicales, Hadestown, Fiddler on the Roof et Phantom of the Opera sont toujours bien appréciés.

I adore diverse arts, poetry, and literature, paintings, theatre, manual crafts and threads. As for musicals, Hadestown, Fiddler on the Roof, and Phantom of the Opera are always on the list.

I visited the city of Avignon during its annual renowned theatre festival; without having previously known anyone there, I was able to attend a late-night play in the grand outdoor theatre known as the Cour d'Honneur; with a new friend by my side, we watched Le Moine Noir amid the wind and darkness and on-stage flames below the stars.

I have walked across several states, written several books of poetry, and done my best to stay true to my ideals.

Teach, Learn, Share

Les langues, la musique (piano, saxophone, guitare).

I always love learning new languages (I have studied English, French, Latin, Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Polish, and a little German and Italian). I play saxophone, piano, and guitar, and I wouldn't mind learning another instrument or two.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share an appreciation of languages and other cultures, along with stories; I can share hospitality and help cook meals. In addition, it is always a pleasure to play music together. If someone can teach me how to sing better or practice dancing, that is also fantastic.
