ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year-old guy who's looking for a few places to crash while I take a small musical sojourn across the Eastern U.S. I'm just finishing up 20 month stay in South Korea, where I was teaching English at a Korean kindergarten. I'm doing a small musical tour in March this year, and would love help from cool local people to host me for a night on their couch, bed, or floor.

I'm extremely easy-going, and I'd like to say gregarious, but without being annoyingly forward. Good manners was an important part of my upbringing (like any true Midwesterner), and I need very little to be happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few bands when I lived in Chicago using the sight "Better Than the Van" and had a great experience. I'm hoping to have great travels in the future.

Interests

I play guitar and violin, and I'm a singer-songwriter, so anything (or just about) musically related I'll most likely be in to.

I also like playing soccer, and video games are always fun. If anyone happens to sail out there, that's also a favorite past time of mine.

Fantasy, Sci-Fi, a good period drama. Doesn't really matter the genre or medium so much as if it's well done.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spoke to a Chinese man in Shanghai for an hour using nothing but the language of a Spanish guitar piece. Seriously.
