I'm a traveler originally from the midwestern USA. For the past year and a half I have been backpacking through Australlia, New Zealand, and SE Asia. Vietnam was my favorite place from the trip. But I am a very relaxed and low maintenance individual. Outgoing and always into trying new things. I don't party all of the time but do like to have fun. I am vegan and enjoy learning more about the lifestyle and sharing what I know too. But not pushy about it, if you are an adult you can make your own choices ;)
Am gay and of course very LGBT friendly with hosts and guests. Also politically liberal, but not obnoxious about it and respectful of other's viewpoints and beliefs. If you like to read then we will get along great because I am working to finish my degree in Literature at the Universiteit van Amsterdam.

I'm on couchsurfing because I will be moving to Europe for the next three years (Amsterdam) and would love to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to get to know the people and place on a deeper level.
