Overview
About Me
Hello my friend! I am Greg, 23 years old, born and raised in Bielefeld (some people claim that the city does not exist), got my bachelor's degree in Karlsruhe and now I am studying in Leipzig.
I study computer science, media & communications. It sounds boring but trust me it is not that bad ;)
Despite that I want to make the world a better place with design. Things are complicated and bad designed without people noticing it. For me good design is not about fancy and flashy looks but about accessibility, understandability, inclusion, environment and joyfulness! Understanding complex connections between humans and everyday activities in our lives became my favourite activity. My lifelong mission will be to make people more aware how they can design things to help other people and to make life easier and more comfortable to all of us... especially for the people who need it the most.
Also motorcycling became a hobby of mine. I had no other choice as my dad is a big old timer motorcycle fan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience with Couchsurfing was in 2013 after I finished school. I was travelling by motorcycle in England back then.
This is my old profile -> https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/gregorvalentin
It has a reference but unfortunately I cannot login anymore and I don't have the E-Mail address anymore!
Now me and my very good friend Fritzi (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/fritzi-knopf) are planning some trips on a budget together. Our first stop will be Prague in the Czech Republic. We are open minded people and curios to meet new interesting friends like you! We are interested in the stories other people have to tell and we are always glad when someone shows us around. Couchsurfing offers all this in one place!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh god I hate that question :D although I am a total binge watcher (currently Mindhunter & Misfits).
I am a huge Mr. Bean fan and I really love Parks and Recreation.
Not really a books guy, sorry. It's a long story but now I have reading glasses and enjoy a book sometime. The books I read are mostly about design and psychology.
I turned my old radio in for a spotify premium account, now I listen to all kinds of music. But preferably indie, electro, minimal and everything that feels right. I am open to many kinds of music genres and always enjoy discovering new favourite songs I can listen to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling England by my motorcycle with zero experience all by my own. Was kinda spooky at first but I learned so much about travelling alone.
There are other great stories but I will save them until I can tell them to you in person ;P
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to code or how to build a website or how to fix your bike, motorcycle, etc. Sharing is caring!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My brain is packed with crappy psychological advices I gathered from reading books. I will share them with you anyways. You won't have to ask me. But do not worry - I will stop before I get obnoxious :D
Otherwise I am quite handy, know some mechanics and like to get my hands dirty.
Sometimes I magically fix computers and make stuff appear on a screen.
You need help with taking a photo or you need a new picture for your instagram fanbase? No problemo either :D
Need help with your coding project? I am in ... except it is in C or C++
