Overview
About Me
I, Aurélie, live in Chiang Mai, Thailand since November 2015. I love it here, I feel great. I spend my time learning thai and helping in different organisations including building with mud and wood.
I am travelling solo to the States for 2 weeks in June, I ll be looking for couches in New York City. I hope you will be able to give me some tips. Hope to meet you soon!
I am open to others and discovery. I love cinema, good food, travel (like many people on this site for sure). My other interests are: books, tv shows, board games, self development, swimming, diving, ecology and natural building.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I surfed in several couches all over the world (Western USA, Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, Spain). I met amazing and interesting people, who brought me into their lives and made me feel welcomed. Many years later, some are still my friends.
When I was back in France, I hosted couchsurfers every time I could (when not already hosting friends or family, or when I was not traveling myself).
I love the spirit, the exchange, the non-profit relationship. I always try to offer something in exchange of being hosted, most of the time it's french cooking ;)
Thank you all of you who are part of this community!
