About Me
Hello, my name is Guo Shouhua, you can call me Grense, I come from Shanghai, China. I am a postgraduate student of Art and Design at East China Normal University, and I spent a semester as an exchange student in the Czech Republic. My mother tongue is Chinese, and I am fluent in English and simple Japanese.
In the past few years of my study, I've had several internships and volunteer experiences, including volunteering at major film festivals, international marathons and music festivals during my time at university, as well as internships at L'Oréal China and a number of start-ups and internet companies, so I have a lot of volunteer experience and social work experience, so I can get along well with people, communicate and work efficiently.
In the meantime, I'm a photographer and vlogger with nearly 80,000 subscribers across the web, documenting and loving the world through my lens!

I have been travelling alone a lot since college and most of my holidays I'm on the road travelling, I love nature, in China I've been to the farthest place on the edge of Tibet in the no-man's-land of Nanjiluo, which is up to 4,500 metres above sea level, likewise I've been to Japan alone, I've also climbed in Poland, I've been to a lot of cities in Italy, and I've been to Germany, and I think that I can blend in with the local environment pretty well, and by travelling to each and every one of them in a different country I've been made more and more passionate about the world and more and more clear in my own perceptions of what I'm capable of, to help the needy, and to be optimistic about my life!
Let me share something very memorable. I lived on a farm in Iceland for half a month as a helper. I herded sheep, sheared sheep, cooked, and lived with the locals. It was really cool.
I also served as a volunteer for half a month in winter in Finland, which was also a very good memory.
I love food and cooking, I used to work part time in a Chinese restaurant and have a driving licence, although my driving skills are pretty average haha. I have also had pets and love small animals and am very patient with children.
I don't have any bad habits, I don't smoke, I don't snore when I sleep, I just need a room to rest and sleep, I usually stay in a city for about 3days to 1 week and I can stay longer if you need me.
