Overview
About Me
I've lived my entire life following my parents around the world as they dotted here and there for their jobs in the humanitarian aid sector. I currently live in Wales and in September I will be starting the second year of my Master in Geographical Information Management and Applications (mapping, in short). I love travelling and meeting new people. I'm open minded and love a simple life based on being in touch with nature and counting on the little things that make life wonderful. I cherish friendships and meaningful encounters because they make this world a little less of a lonely place. I hope to bring the same smiles in other people's lives as others do in mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sharing is caring. A story, a book, a room, a sofa bed or even just a few square meters of floorspace. CS lets you do just that. As a student, I also appropriate the value of a network of people who lets you stay the night and reduce the costs of travelling, because exploring the world shouldn't be limited to the rich. I'm currently not hosting but that's just because I'm away from home, I'll be open for visits once I'm back :)
Interests
I love everything, including those things I'm not aware of loving yet. Travelling, rock climbing, reading, cycling, arts and crafts, and Jiu Jitsu are among those that I am aware of!
Music, Movies, and Books
Indie, acoustic, classical music. I'm a Star Wars fan but love anything from action and thrillers to drama and comedy. I have an endless list of movies to watch as I've been very busy lately (although I know that's no excuse) and I always looking to make it even more endless. So hit me up with suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess skydiving is pretty cool...
Teach, Learn, Share
I've spent the summer working in a mountain hut in Switzerland in order to learn French, and I've made good progress, so I'm always looking for someone to help me keep it up. And of course, you can practice your Italian with me as I am bilingual.
I have plenty of fun stories to share from all my travels and love to hear those of others :)
