Overview
About Me
Hey everybody. I am an adventurous woman who likes to explore the world and everything in it. I love travelling and I make sweet escapes from my daily life every chance I get. I am an entrepreneur. Currently I am working business development, international relations, consulting and helping people develop themselves in various forms.
Something personal - I believe that communication is one of the most important skills a person should develop; we don't need to know a specific language to be able to communicate effectively with another human beings. Therefore, I love exploring the dynamics between people, including my own dynamics with people in different situations.
If I should share something more personal than this, I would share I adore animals, all kinds of them. I have had several dogs which I used to train. I am very open minded but I don't take mistreatment from anybody. The first things that people around me usually say about me are that I am open-minded, calm, vibrant, imaginative and grounded.
I know these descriptions can hardly fit all of one's personality, but I hope it will provide a big enough glimpse for you, so you can see me beyond the words I have written for you, and feel my vibe.
Love & Good vibes,
Greta
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling for a long time in which I change different locations every 3-4 days. For example, if I decide to travel for 4 weeks, that could end up in me being in 6 countries. Another specific thing about my travels is that I really don't like travelling as a tourist and going to all the places listed in the guides.....well, except if it is an ancient construction (that comes from my fascination with ancient civilisations).
I prefer experiencing the country, the location, as a local. I have chosen this way of travel many years ago, because I believe it gives me the better taste and sense of the country, the nation, the traditions, the mindset, the small cute custom things every nation has for itself. I believe I can learn more about a culture from the people, for whom it is a reality, than just looking at some old buildings (no offence, I am not commenting design, beauty and architecture of the historical buildings, monuments, etc.).
In this line of thoughts, I think Couchsurfing is the way that fits best for me as a traveller. I love to experience, exchange and unite cultures. And in that moment, origins stop having such a big influence, then we become just people, beings, enjoying and experiencing the moment to the fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books
Honestly, that is a little hard question, because in my opinion all genres are so mixed in the last years that it is hard to just define any kind of art to one genre.
I used to listen to a lot of electronic music, but the last 2 years my spiritual desires have shifted to another genre. I am listening to psychill, psytrance, deep house, mantras. Of course I keep listening to electronic music, but not that much at home or on my phone, but on parties YES!
If you have come so far to read at my profile maybe you are feeling what I will say about movies. I like only movies that can surprise me and keep my mind in tension to try figure out what is going on until the end. I cannot watch movies which I feel like I've written the story and I can figure out everything from the beginning. Examples for movies: Thank you for smoking; Stranger than Fiction; Revolver; The Wicker Man; Finding Nemo; Finding Dory; Wall-e; Ice Age 1 2 3 4; (basically most things on Pixar). I just love computer animation. It is kind of for kids but not really ;)
The rule for movies is the same as books. I have read a lot of books but I will share with you just one name, because I think it says all about my preferences in movies, music, books, everything. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Years ago, I have given up experiencing one of my dreams because I saw such a spark in a stranger's eyes to experience the same thing. So I stepped aside and I gave her the opportunity. When she did it she was so scared, I am not sure that she fully enjoyed it. But I have never regretted this moment, because I know that I can create another situation in my life through which I can make this dream come true. And I gave her what I thought I wanted so much. After I gave it to her and she did it, I felt happy for her - because now she had the opportunity to test herself and enriched her life; and I felt happy for my self because I just let go, without even thinking about it. I just wanted to help and letting go came naturally.
