About Me

Hello! I was born and bred in Australia, and am currently living and travelling in Spain, working on some projects while trying my hand at learning Spanish. I am a lover of learning - meeting new faces, seeing new and familiar cities, each filled with loads of great conversations, art and music, walks and parks, delicious food and wine! I look forward to sharing adventures and stories with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about a city from the people that live and breathe it! Meeting new people to share ideas and travel adventures is one of my favourite parts of exploring new places. Of course, Couchsurfing, will help me see more great places on my limited budget. I am new to Couchsurfing, and look forward to being able to repay the favour!

I love walking and trekking, and couchsurfing through the towns I pass is a great way to meet people along the way!

Interests

New people, new conversations, new places, new ideas and adventures. I love art, history, theatre, music; great food and wine; painting and drawing; outdoors, walking and parks; getting lost in a good book; getting lost in a new city.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I am very much enjoying live jazz and classical music, but also a little bit of chilled electronic (think Bonobo, Nils Frahm). I'm reading a great book about reconsidering hunter-gatherers in pre-colonial Australia...loving learning brand new ideas about my own ancient country while away from home. The last thing I saw on TV was a documentary about Shakespear's Mother...now she was one great woman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I relocated my life to the UK for two years, moved back to Sydney to set down some roots, then uplifted those saplings to a nomadic life back in Europe. Finding power in uncertainty can be amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I dare you to seek bravery, power and positivity in uncertainty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am eager to contribute where I can - be this with good wine, fresh food, cleaning, or just great conversation!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Morocco, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom
